Posted: 5/10/2011 The Bartholomew Hapkido Fund Racer Seminar
100% of the proceeds of this event will go to the treatment, recovery and care of Master Robert Bartholomew, 3rd Dan.
The Story: Master Robert has been fighting for his life since March 27, 2011. He fell ill to a strange form of flesh eating streptococcus bacteria (No one seems to know how or were). He spent a week in the ICU of the Prince William County Hospital where he was treated for total organ failure and toxic shock syndrome. They did not expect him to survive but miraculously he did. He was later transferred to the ICU burn victims unit of the Washington Hospital center to treat the devastating effect of the bacteria on his body. He has now been for the past several weeks. He is doing a slow but painful recovery. The doctors expect he will have to continue undergoing surgery and physical therapy for month to come. We all know how costly health care is and realize the amounting bills he will need to struggle with once he recovers. This is the first in a series of seminars intended to help our friend be able to focus on his recovery and have to worry less on the amount of money he will need to pay in co-pays and non health insurance covered treatment. Please join us in training on the art Robert loves!
