Starting this Sunday, Master Lutz will be holding hapkido classes every Sunday from 2:00 to 3:30 or 4:00 at the Police Academy in Ashburn. It’s important to know that if you plan to attend you MUST be there BY 2:00, no later.

After class, Master Lutz will be doing a crossfit workout and anyone who wishes to join in is more than welcome. (It is always designed to be as challenging and difficult as your body allows it to be…)

Belt testing will be held at the academy on Sunday April 18th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It is advised that you arrive early such that you may prepare and warm up as necessary.

Mark your calendars! You’re invited!
On Saturday, January 30, 2010, Master JR West will be joining the Northern Virginia Hapkido Academy. This year, our seminar will be at Culmore United Methodist Church in Falls Church, VA. The seminar will be scheduled from 10:00 to 6:00 and is open to all styles and ranks. Please check with me if you have students who are interested in attending that are under 15.

Swordfest is scheduled to take place on June 20, 2009 and will once again be located at the Capital Area Budokai dojo. Activities will run from somewhere around 9:30 am until around 4:30 pm. There will be a 1hour lunch break sometime around Noon and various restaurants are located within walking distance. Groups that demo will perform in 20 minute time slots, with a 10 min staging time and photo time.
The Capital Area Budokai is located in the Stonewall Jackson Building, a converted school building on the east side of Luckett's Field. The address is 25 S. Quaker Ln, Alexandria, VA 22314
